Kusamotu, Ayodele Musibau obtained his LL.B. (Hons.) in 1997 from the University of Lagos and was called to the Nigerian Bar in 1998. In 2001, he pioneered a boutique law firm, Kusamotu & Kusamotu whose hallmark is “thinking out of the box” and exploring uncharted areas of law. He is Fellow of the National Centre For Technology and Dispute Resolution of the University of Massachusettes, Amherst, United States of America and a Director at the He is pioneering the Online Dispute Resolution field in Nigeria in finding ways of solving online disputes outside the Courtroom. Ayo Kusamotu was an adviser to Nicholas Negroponte’s One Laptop Per Child Association Inc which proposed to sell one million laptops to Nigerian Government for school children.
Ayo Kusamotu heads the Foreign Investment Practice and is a specialist in a trade with China. He appears in all courts in Nigeria. He contributes to opinion columns in local newspapers and has written several articles in international journals and books, some of which are the ABA Guide to International Business Negotiations (3rd ed.), Information Communications Technology Law (Routledge Taylor & Francis Group). He is also a speaker at conferences.
